PAT has a successful history of driving out requirements and objectives through the application of our business requirements analysis process; a process intentionally designed to be iterative and inclusive.   This ensures that what we uncover in stakeholder interviews and what we recommend as next steps has been shared with and validated with our client.  Each step of the way our clients are brought into the process to ensure we are achieving best fit with the appropriate requirements and criteria.  Although we have a generic process, we tailor the process, the objectives and outcomes for each project.  We have altered our process to analyze requirements of CAD, GIS, web-mapping and Asset Management business systems.

Usability engineering is a method that we’ve relying upon to drive our iVAULT product forward.  Usability engineering is an approach to software design and implementation that looks at actual instances of use for direction in making design decisions that aim to improve the ease and effectiveness of software in the hands of the end-user. As such it is an ideal approach for assessing the current effectiveness of software that is currently in use and determining what kinds of design changes would benefit end-users.
